Time to Reintroduce Ourselves : What is ImpactShip?

ImpactShip exists to open doors that too often stay closed, especially for young people, impact Professionals and communities across the Global South. We work to make funding, fellowships, climate programs, and career-defining opportunities easier to access, understand, and secure.

Our goal is simple: put opportunities where they belong in the hands of people ready to create impact.

Over the past six months, our community has grown rapidly, bringing together founders, climate leaders, researchers, innovators, and changemakers from around the world. As the network expands, we’re now opening the door to new collaborations and partnerships that help us serve this community even better.

  • If your organization or platform wants to support or reach this growing ecosystem, we’re always open to thoughtful collaborations and partnerships that align with our mission.

  • And if you’re building something impactful, a platform, tool, or initiative that serves the climate or social impact space: we’d love to explore ways to feature your work in front of thousands of impact-driven professionals.

  • Likewise, if you’d like your work or organization to be featured, or know someone whose work deserves visibility, feel free to reach out.

  • If you would like to support our work/sponsor this newsletter reach out to us at [email protected].

And as we continue growing, your voice matters to us. If you appreciate what we’re building, or have suggestions on how we can improve, simply reply with feedback, we genuinely use community input to shape what comes next.

If ImpactShip has helped you discover a grant, fellowship, job, partnership, or any meaningful opportunity, we would deeply appreciate hearing your story. Testimonials and feedback help us build credibility and expand our ability to support even more people.

THE JARGON DECODER
Decoding complex policy terms into plain English so you can focus on making an impact.

📌 Term: Climate Finance Gap
he massive shortfall between how much money is needed to help communities mitigate and adapt to climate change and how little funding actually reaches them, especially in the Global South.

In theory, wealthy countries and institutions pledge billions for climate action. In practice, much of that money arrives late, as loans (not grants), or not at all, leaving frontline communities to foot the bill for a crisis they didn’t cause.

Equity lens:
The climate finance gap turns climate change into a pay-to-survive problem. Closing it isn’t charity, it’s climate justice.
